INFORMATION DOCUMENT on Data Protection – as per Art. 13 of Leg. Decree 196/2003.

The personal data collected will be processed mainly electronically in order to complete the registration process and allow you to use the services the site offers by accessing restricted areas (e.g. processing your orders and other steps necessary to that, including operations related to administrative and fiscal obligations, sending newsletters, when requested) and also to improve the service offered.

The Data Controller is GIORGIO ARMANI S.p.A., based in Via Borgonuovo, 11, 20121 Milan, Italy, registered in the MILAN companies register with tax code 310106791465997. The Data Controller has nominated the Temporary Data-Processing Manager (the name of whom is available by writing to privacy@giorgioarmani.it).

The company Venchi S.p.A. based in Via Venchi, 1 - 12040 Castelletto - Stura (CN), registered with the Cuneo Companies Register, tax code and VAT no. 05744670968, Share Capital € 8,500,000.00 fully paid-up, is responsible for managing the sales and transactions carried out in the context of the Armani/Dolci online store, such as order management, sales and product delivery, returns management and guarantees, and other tasks necessary for the sale of products via the online store, website management and web marketing. For the performance of the functional activities used for selling the products through the Armani/Dolci online store, Venchi S.p.A. as Data Controller - and according to current data protection laws - processes users' data such as name, surname, address and information on credit card used (e.g. name and surname of the card owner, number, expiry date, and security code).
The processing of the data used to fulfil these undertakings is required so as to correctly manage the relationship, and their acquisition is compulsory in order to implement the purposes indicated above. The Data Controllers also notify users that should the latter not communicate - or communicate incorrectly - any of the compulsory information, the former will be unable to adequately guarantee processing.

Additionally, with consent, the data may be processed also by registering with the mailing list that sends informative, sales and promotional messages (including prize events, contests etc.) relating to the products of the Armani/Dolci store.
The provision of data for such purposes is optional and refusal will not affect the continuation of the relationship or the congruity of the processing itself. Data management and storage is carried out by Venchi (appointed Data Processing Manager by Giorgio Armani to manage the newsletters); the data will be processed using systems that guarantee security and confidentiality and they will be processed manually, electronically and/or through telecommunications by using cookies (for more information, see the cookie policy) and automated call systems as identified in Art. 130 of the Code in respect of the formalities set out in Articles 11, 31 and following of the Privacy/Data Protection Code, and by adopting the minimum security measures provided for by the applicable specification in Italian law "Disciplinare Tecnico All.B.".
The data may be transmitted to third parties that carry out organizational and technical services on behalf of Giorgio Armani and Venchi.

United Parcel Service, for the processing of data needed to provide shipping, delivery and returns of products purchased on armanidolci.com

MW Internet Media Srl, for the processing of data used for the management and maintenance of the hosting servers on behalf of Venchi;

The categories of those appointed by the Data Controllers to process the data for the above purposes are the staff in charge of order fulfilment, administration, customer service, information systems and marketing (when consent is given), website management, and of providing services reserved to registered users.
Your data will not be distributed.
As per Article 7 of Legs. Decree 196/2003, you can exercise your rights to consult, modify and delete data, or oppose their use for sending advertising material, commercial communications or opinion polls, by contacting Venchi S.p.A. at the surface-mail address above, or sending an e-mail to: milano@armanidolci.com. Using the same method, you can request the complete, updated list of the Processing Managers.

Legislative Decree No. 196/2003: Art. 7 – Right to access personal information and other rights

1. Interested parties have the right to receive confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them, even if not yet registered, and the communication of such data in intelligible form.

2. The interested party is entitled to obtain information on:
f)     the origin of the personal information;
g)     the purposes and manner of processing;
h)     the logic applied when processing is performed with the assistance of electronic tools;
i)     the identity of the Data Controller, the appointed managers and the Designated Representative as per article 5, paragraph 2;
j)     the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal information may be communicated or who may learn of them in their capacity as Designated Representative in the applicable country, or as officers or workers.

3. The interested party is entitled to obtain:

d)     the updating, alteration or, should they be so inclined, the integration of the data;
e)     the cancellation, rendering anonymous or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data that need not be kept for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed;
f)     certification that the operations in letters a) and b) have been notified, also as regards their content, to those to whom the data was communicated or disclosed, except where this proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.

4. Interested parties have the right to object, in whole or in part:

c)    to the processing of their personal data, for lawful reasons, even if pertinent for the purpose of collection,
d)     to the processing of personal data that regard them for purposes of sending advertising or direct sales materials, or for carrying out market research or sales communications.
